Disney’s Animal Kingdom Pangani Trail
Jungle Fever was cut from Animal Kingdom. There aren’t layers in it, so I had to cut it 3 times to get the look. I cut the bamboo is from Life Is a Beach. All cardstock and DSP is from SU. My journaling is done on the letter “O” from Life Is a Beach.
More Kilimanjaro Safari
Paper is all Stampin Up. I tore cardstock to create the path. I found the Mickey head ribbon with leopard ears on eBay! Isn’t is awesome??? I got several different Disney ribbons that I’ve never seen before, all from the same seller. If you’re interested, let me know and I’ll try to find the info on eBay.
Cartridges used: Create a Critter for the pond and grasses, Animal Kingdom for the word JUNGLE, Hannah Montana for the title, Summer Vacation for the “jeep”.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Kilimanjaro Safari
Cartridges used: Animal Kingdom and Pooh & Friends (just for the sign).
Disney’s Animal Kingdom layout, Tree of Life - It's Tough to be a Bug
I created the “Tree of Life” from Pooh and Friends. Took a little bit of time to “hide selected contour” on the door and window of the tree house, but it was worth it. Monkeys are from New Arrival, and Mickey font was used for “Animal Kingdom”, and “eyes”. On the right page, Flik and Atta were cut from Best of Pixar, as well as the leaves, one at 5” and one at 6”, and the word “bug”. The nasty black bugs were cut from A Child's Year -- can you believe that? (yuck).

Hip Hop and Modern Dance Layout
Finally wrapping up the dances and costumes from the 2009 recital. I haven’t even started the pages from the 2010 recital, yet the 2011 recital is only 2 months away. I’ll never catch up, but that’s OK I guess. Hoping I don’t run out of ideas too soon!
I used a few rub-ons on this layout too, and Stampin’ Up’s eyelet punch. The colors are Stampin Up in colors from 2009/2010, Dusty Durango and Bermuda Bay. Why do I use so much SU? First I love the quality of the products, secondly, the fact that the cardstock, ribbon, markers, chalks, designer paper, and ink (which I only used for sponging on this layout) all match perfect. I love Stampin Up!
A strange color combination I know, but my goal was to make the two costumes (I had remaining to scrap) work in a layout together. The hip hop costume was busy enough, so I figured I could get away with solid cardstock and went that route for both sides of the layout, just reversing everything on the right page. I was extremely happy with the turnout!
Tap Dance Duet
All paper is Stampin Up except for the black striped background on the left layout. Initials “hlb” are Thickers, I’m not sure of the brand on the black and red polka-dot ribbons-I believe they are from JoAnn.
Jazz Dance layout
I struggled with a layout for these Jazz dance photos – probably because my daughter truly hated the costume so much, I couldn’t get thru the mental block to create cute pages! I ended up using black “bubbly” paper and leopard paper, both from Hobby Lobby, gold shimmery paper for the “Super Star” die cut, and real red from Stampin Up to mount the photos and Jazz title. The leopard ribbon is just a spool from Walmart, the solid black ribbon and black brads are from Stampin Up. I purchased the word “JAZZ” from www.laserline.com
