Boyfriend/Girlfriend framed layout

My daughter has been asking for a 12x12 layout of her and her boyfriend for quite a while now, so it was time to get the job done.  They are quite the cute couple, so a cute layout was in order!

No surprise, all cardstock and ribbon is Stampin' Up!, but the DSP is a textured (fun & fuzzy) zebra print that I picked up from HL.  My flower is made from SU punches, then I added a SU button, some SU twine, and a few SU pearls.
"You & me" is cut from the recently released Phrases cartridge, and I added SU clear rhinestones to bling it up a bit.  The heart/X/O and the couple are both cut from Sweethearts cartridge.  If you can see "Brannah" at the bottom of the page, it's the Mickey Font, and is a combination of their names, Braden and Hannah :)  Most important about the layout -- Hannah loves it!

As always, thanks for stopping by.  Love your comments so leave me a few!

Love Is In The Air layout - right side added

Finally got the other side of this layout completed, and I'm really happy with how it came together.  Normally I have ideas in my head for both pages of a layout, but when I did the left side for the Scrappy Saturday challenge a couple of weeks ago, I had no idea what I was going to do with the other side.  So I procrastinated, but finally finished it off!

All cardstock is SU (Old Olive, Pink Pirouette, and Real Red).
Cricut carts used:  Mickey and Friends, Summer Vacation, Mickey Font

This layout is my entry for this week's Scrappy Saturday's with the Bug Challenge.  It's Melissa and Amanda's second challenge, "Something Lovey".

I'm currently working on Disney layouts from our January trip, and this picture of Minnie Mouse kissing our 15 year old DS seemed so fitting.  We were at the Beach Club Resort, at the Cape May Character Breakfast, which is one of our favorites. I used Design Studio and Hello Kitty Font cartridge to create the (Old Olive cardstock) page with the "xoxo" border on 2 sides.  The file I created has the "xoxo" around all of the edges, but when I went to use it for this layout, I decided to trim 2 sides off so more of the cute frogs would show from the background paper.

Frog DSP is K & Company.  Ribbon is SU also, then I added some rhinestones, a few pearls (for the dots on the I's), white gel pen, Stardust Gelly Roll pen, and lots of dazzling diamond stickles. How can you not love Dazzling Diamonds???  I'm a firm believer in dimensionals too, so the heart and matted photo are raised.
